Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, with reference to the Independent Breast Screening Review report, published on gov.uk on 13 December 2018, what discussions his Department has had with (a) Public Health England and (b) NHS England on communicating the findings that report to women who were informed they may have been affected by a screening invitation error.

The Department is discussing with Public Health England and NHS England about communicating the implications of the report from the Independent Review of Breast Screening Incident and will be providing a formal response from the Government to the review in early 2019.
