Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:
To ask the Secretary of State for Health, when he plans to publish a new children and young people mental health prevalence survey.
This question was answered on 15th October 2014
The Department is currently commissioning a survey into the prevalence of children and young people’s mental health problems. It will not be possible to predict when the results will be published until the scoping exercise which is in progress has been completed. The main work on the survey, including the data collection, is currently scheduled to take place in the financial year 2015-16.
