Question to the Home Office:
To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, how many and what proportion of (a) women and (b) men have made a statutory application to request flexible working in her Department; and how many of those applications have been granted to date.
Statutory requests for flexible working are decided by individual line managers in the Home Department. Information on how many requests have been made and how many granted to date is therefore not held centrally and could only be
collected at disproportionate cost.
