Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, what his policy is on enabling public registrars to print the full postal address including postcodes on death certificates.

The information contained in a death certificate is set in statute. The usual addresses of the deceased and the informant are collected primarily for identification purposes and may include postcodes where this is provided by the informant.
