Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, how much HMRC has been owed in unpaid penalties in each year since 2010.

The information requested could be provided only at disproportionate cost. Data on unpaid penalties owed to HMRC are not readily available. HMRC does not produce figures on unpaid penalties for all heads of duty where a penalty charge would apply.
