The Government is seeking continuity for our existing EU free trade agreements as we leave the European Union. If the UK leaves the EU with a deal, then the UK will remain party to the agreements it is already part of by virtue of its EU membership, including with Mexico.

Published on the 21st February, My Rt Hon friend, Dr Liam Fox, laid before the house a written statement, and information for business, outlining the current status of these agreements in the context of a no deal. This information can be found on the government website at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/existing-trade-agreements-if-the-uk-leaves-the-eu-without-a-deal/existing-trade-agreements-if-the-uk-leaves-the-eu-without-a-deal.
