The Department for Education is leading the development of a scheme to provide access to free sanitary products in all secondary schools and colleges in England, and it recognises the importance of consulting with stakeholders in the public and private sector to inform planning. Further details about the development and implementation of the scheme will be announced in due course.

My right hon. Friend, the Minister for Women and Equalities announced a new expert joint taskforce of government, business and the third sector on 4 March 2019 to develop a sustainable solution to period poverty in the UK. We are actively working with colleagues on the development of the taskforce and through them developing broader stakeholder engagement plans.
