Question to the Department of Health and Social Care:

To ask the Secretary of State for Health and Social Care, on how many occasions the Government implemented in full the recommendations of the Review Body on Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration (DDRB) in the last 20 years.

During the last 20 years there was a two-year public sector pay freeze when the Government did not ask the Review Body on Doctors’ and Dentists’ Remuneration (DDRB) to make any pay recommendations.

Of the remaining 18 years, the DDRB’s recommendations were accepted in full on 11 occasions.
