Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask the Chancellor of the Exchequer, if his Department will collect data on illicit tobacco seizures of less than 100,000 cigarettes.

HMRC currently collects data from all illicit tobacco seizures. Details of total volumes seized are published on an annual basis in the ‘Corporate Report: Outputs for tackling tobacco smuggling’.
