MHCLG officials are working closely with DHSC to provide PPE equipment to all those that need it. Further information on this will be available in due course.

This Government recognises that social distancing is a significant challenge for the those who are homeless or rough sleeping and we are already working closely with local authorities to support vulnerable groups such as these.

Because we recognise the challenges faced by many who are currently sleeping rough, we are ensuring local authorities are supported with £3.2 million in targeted funding to ensure that we minimise the risk to those currently unable to self-isolate. £1.6 billion of additional funding will go to local authorities to enable them to respond to other Covid-19 pressures, including stepping up support for the adult social care workforce and for services helping the most vulnerable.
