Ministers and officials have had no recent discussions with the FCA on the collapse of Collateral (UK) Ltd.

The FCA is an independent regulator responsible for overseeing the peer to peer lending sector and preventing firms from carrying out unauthorised activity. Investigations into individual firms’ activities are a matter for the FCA.
