Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs, whether his Department identified any human rights risks in the Overseas Security and Justice Assistance assessment it conducted for the regional MSc in Security Sector Management in Ethiopia.

The Overseas Security and Justice Assistance assessment for the regional MSc in Security Sector Management identified no serious risk of it directly or significantly contributing to a violation of human rights.

The programme is itself designed to directly mitigate the risk of human rights abuses. Human rights features prominently as a cross-cutting theme throughout the course.
