The payments made to the merchant ‘EVERYTHING BRANDED’ were for the following purposes:

  • Transactions on 27 and 30 March 2020 were for hand sanitizer for prison establishments.
  • Transactions on 23 June 2021 were for water bottles, badges and note pads for staff.

The payment to the merchant ‘PRIVATEFLY LTD’ was for a private flight for a prisoner transfer to Ireland.

We are content that the referenced payments were subject to normal MoJ controls and in line with government procurement card policy and was an appropriate use of public money.
