Following the recent announcement of an additional £1.3 billion across 2018-19 and 2019-20, on top of existing spending plans, funding per pupil will now be maintained in real terms up to 2020. The additional investment will provide for a cash increase through the national funding formula of at least 1% by 2019-20 for all schools, compared to their baseline. Those schools that have been underfunded will see cash gains of up to 3% a year in both years.
