Treasury: Living Wage

Question to the HM Treasury:

To ask Mr Chancellor of the Exchequer, pursuant to the Answer of 10 July 2015 to Question 2952, if he will make it his policy to secure accredited Living Wage Employer status for his Department from the Living Wage Foundation.

The Chancellor has announced a new National Living Wage compulsory as of next April, expected to reach £9 an hour by 2020. Tackling low pay is part of the Government’s plan to move to a higher wage, lower tax and lower welfare society.

Reticulating Splines
