Question to the Department for Education:

To ask the Secretary of State for Education, with reference to paragraph 4.11 of the Spring Budget 2017, when the funding for lifelong learning pilots will be rolled out; and how that funding will be allocated.

We are in the process of developing pilots to be delivered during 2017/18 and 2018/19. The funding will be targeted on interventions that test and deliver the most effective approaches to breaking down barriers to lifelong learning.
