Question to the Home Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department, if she will publish data on the average length of time that an asylum seeker who has been deemed inadmissible under the Nationality and Borders Act typically spends in asylum accommodation before the Government (a) is able to return that individual to their country of origin or the previous safe country that they had resided in and (b) recognises that there is no prospect of returning that person to their country of origin or the previous safe country that they had resided in and therefore permits that person to apply for asylum in the UK.
