Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask the Secretary of State for Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Affairs, how many (a) UK nationals and (b) people with leave to remain in the UK are registered with her Department as being present in Ethiopia.

The Foreign, Commonwealth and Development Office (FCDO) does not require British nationals to register with an Embassy / High Commission when they travel or live abroad. Any registration process would quickly become dated as British nationals would not reliably update their location. British nationals are encouraged to follow FCDO Travel Advice for the latest information and advice on what to do if they are in Ethiopia.
