The Strategic Defence and Security Review is a cross Government review led by the Cabinet Office. As part of this review we have engaged with a wide range of stakeholders, including the Devolved Administrations.

I and other Ministers have offered meetings with the Scottish Parliament Minister with responsibility for Veterans on five different dates in the past six weeks, which have been declined. Ministry of Defence Ministers remain willing to meet Ministers in the Scottish Government to discuss the SDSR; I also had a constructive meeting with the hon. Members for Argyll and Bute and Stirling last week.
