Question to the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made of the threat posed by jihadists in northern Nigeria following reports that Boko Haram fighters have moved from Borno state to Rijana Forest in Kaduna state.

The Government is concerned by increasing insecurity in Nigeria. We continue to follow developments closely, including reports of terrorist activity in Kaduna State. Our Travel Advice advises against all travel to Kaduna State, and notes that significant attacks have occurred in Kaduna State in the past.
