Northern Ireland remains part of the UK’s customs territory. The Government is working hard to ensure that businesses have the necessary guidance in place to be ready for future arrangements. The Government recognises the importance of having guidance that meets businesses’ needs, including providing full guidance for Northern Ireland businesses on new arrangements related to the Northern Ireland Protocol.
