Question to the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy:

To ask Her Majesty's Government what assessment they have made regarding the impact of Brexit on energy trading with Europe.

The Government is currently considering all aspects of its future relationship with the EU, including in energy. Our priority is to maintain affordable, clean and secure energy supplies for businesses and households.

We are undertaking a comprehensive programme of analytical work across a range of scenarios. This work is ongoing. However, we have been clear that we must not publish material that could expose the UK in the negotiations.
