In line with the 'Shared Approach to Gender in Syria' that the Government published in 2018, we are supporting Syrian civil society actors to ensure the inclusion of women's voices in the conference discussions. The UK continues to support programming to empower Syrian women and girls socially, politically and economically, and we strongly advocate for the meaningful participation of Syrian women in politics, including the UN-led political process.
