Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask His Majesty's Government how many "gig economy" workers there are in the UK workforce at present; and how many there were in each of the previous five years.

As National Statistician and Chief Executive of the UK Statistics Authority, I am responding to your Parliamentary Question asking how many "gig economy" workers there are in the UK workforce at present; and how many there were in each of the previous five years (HL7206).
