Wednesday 15th July 2020

Asked by: Jack Lopresti (Conservative - Filton and Bradley Stoke)

Question to the Department for International Development:

What steps her Department is taking to promote measures to limit the spread of covid-19 in the Kurdistan region of Iraq.

Answered by James Cleverly - Home Secretary

The UK stands with Iraq as it responds to the coronavirus outbreak. We are working closely with UN and international partners to help Iraq, including the Kurdistan Region of Iraq, manage the pandemic whilst continuing to meet the needs of the most vulnerable, including displaced people living in camps.
