Self employed people and others may be severely impacted by work cancellations during the corona pandemic. In light of this, it could be very difficult to manage financially and going overdrawn may become unavoidable. To be hit with near 40% charges in the current climate is financially devastating.

To introduce these new bank charges now, couldn't be worse timing. We want the government to work with banks to prevent people from being hampered by these new charges, during what are already very difficult and stressful times with employment and lack of it.
