Change the National Anthem of England to "Mr. Brightside"

Like how Greg Mulholland called an early day motion in 2007 for England to have its own national anthem, I want the government to debate putting classic indie rock hit "Mr. Brightside" by The Killers as the national anthem to England.

This petition was rejected on 21st Oct 2021 for not being a Government or Parliamentary matter

The Petition Committee commented:
This isn’t something that the UK Government or Parliament would be able to do. The use of the present National Anthem is a matter of tradition rather than having any legal or constitutional status. You can find more information about the history and status of the national anthem here: https://www.royal.uk/national-anthem

Scotland has its own anthem. Wales does too. It is time that England has its own anthem. "Mr. Brightside" is an anthem. It was us brits who supported The Killers early in their career, it is right to set the national anthem to reflect this.

The national anthem has become decisive. It is time we had a national anthem for all English people to enjoy.
