Scrapping the TV license fee and request that the BBC and any other TV services currently with government funding raise the money by alternate means.

By principle, government should not intervene in entertainment services. If people want the BBC, they will have little difficulty raising the funds in other ways; it is unfair that one who does not want to watch the BBC should have to pay. It is also wrongful that government attention should be diverted to such trivial matters such as entertainment; their focus should be on governmental efficiency.
