Fund increased pay for Teaching Assistants

We think the Government should fund increased pay for Teaching Assistants. People are struggling enough as it is and some Teaching Assistants need to take on a second job. We think more people need to know how low our pay is.

As a hard working Teaching Assistant myself, I know how much I do in a day and feel that I deserve to be paid a lot more. People are leaving their roles as Teaching Assistants (due to the low pay) and I think that soon schools will be understaffed. I think there are jobs advertised and nobody is applying for them, because people qualified as TAs know how low the pay is. I believe something needs to be done before schools are in crisis.
