Increase funding for hospice care facilities

There are reports of hospice care charities being forced to cut staff and available beds for patients. We want the Government to increase the funding and support they’re allocated. Dying should be dignified and personal and hospices can provide this.

So many end of life patients and palliative care patients rely on hospices to feel safe, to manage their pain and to provide a dignified and comfortable death. We think the NHS is already overrun, clearing beds as fast as possible, and under staffed. Many hospices are already up and running they just need additional funding.
