Funding for preventative NHS Mental Health Services & set minimum access times

We call on the UK Government to increase funding for preventative NHS mental health care. We think too many people are left to deteriorate while waiting for support. We demand legally enforced access times, and investment in early intervention and prevention — not just crisis response.

We think too many people are left to deteriorate while waiting for mental health care. We think the NHS system focuses on crisis, not prevention. We call for legally enforced waiting times, and funding for proper follow-up after discharge and early access support services to stop people falling through the cracks before it’s too late. We think we need investment in prevention, not just emergency care. We think people deserve support before they break, not only after.
