Decriminalise the possession and use of marijuana & cannabis products in the UK

We urge the Government to review the classification of marijuana and decriminalise the possession and use of marijuana and cannabis-related products in the UK. We believe people shouldn’t be prosecuted or fined for what we believe is a private act of intoxication in their homes or public.

Many opinion polls have found that many British people are in favour of decriminalisation of marijuana. We believe in a time of legal backlogs and pressure on the police, a change to the law could assist in alleviating these problems by possibly freeing up state resources and eliminating a climate of fear.
