Hold the government accountable for the growing rise of anti-lgbt hate crime.

We want to government to apply tighter regulations regarding policies they choose to pass. Throughout recent years the government has continued to pass and affirm policy that aims to erase and attack the existence and basic human rights of lgbt individuals. ("transmisia" = anti-trans hostility)

This petition was rejected on 21st Aug 2025 for not petitioning for a specific action

The Petition Committee commented:
Petitions need to call on the Government or Parliament to take a specific action. We're not sure exactly what you'd like the Government or Parliament to do. You could start a new petition explaining clearly what you would like the Government or Parliament to do, such as reviewing a particular policy or changing a specific law.
