It has been reported that the current average value for a new vehicle in the UK is around £40,000, which is the current threshold for luxury car tax. We believe it’s wrong that the reported average in the UK has become a luxury and should be increased. We feel hardworking people deserve to not be overly taxed on the average and that the threshold should be raised to £50k-£55k, as this could be more reflective of what was defined as luxury.
