Prime Minister’s Questions are a key mechanism for democratic accountability, yet we believe questions are frequently deflected or unanswered, which undermines public confidence in Parliament and weakens scrutiny of the executive. We think that clear standards would improve transparency, restore trust, and ensure PMQs serve the public interest rather than political theatre.
