For people in recovery, this can be a trigger and may increase the risk of relapse during routine activities such as refuelling.

We believe petrol stations are essential services, not places where people should be confronted by alcohol promotion. Reducing exposure could support public health and protect vulnerable people. We therefore urge the Government to introduce legislation prohibiting alcohol advertising, promotional signage, and marketing displays at petrol stations.
