For over two decades, the continued conflicts in the east of the DRC have claimed millions of lives. Civilians, including women and children, continue to suffer from violence and displacement. This must stop. We are not calling for military intervention by the UK. We are calling for the UK Government to show the UK's solidarity with victims, increase awareness of the situation in the DRC, and to use stronger diplomatic efforts to encourage lasting peace and justice in the DRC.
