Balochistan has seen a rise in reports of enforced disappearances, where individuals can be detained without due legal process and their whereabouts often remain unknown to their families. Human rights activists have faced arrest and restrictions for peacefully raising these concerns. We ask the UK Government to raise the human rights situation in Balochistan with the Government of Pakistan, support calls for transparent investigations, and advocate for the safety and release of those detained without a fair trial.
