Question to the Cabinet Office:

To ask the Minister for the Cabinet Office, pursuant to the Answer of 11 January 2023 to Question 117872 on Blood: Contamination, how many times the cross-government working group on administering compensation payments to people affected by the infected blood scandal has met; and how many of those meetings involved a Minister.

A cross government working group of officials meets formally on a regular basis to take forward the work of the infected blood Compensation Framework Study. As needed, meetings also take place on an ad-hoc basis. I also have regular meetings with my officials to receive updates on their work.
