Question to the Department for Work and Pensions:

To ask the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions, how many and what proportion of staff in his Department's took a leave of absence due to mental ill health by (a) gender, (b) age and (c) UK region between1 May 2023 and 11 April 2024.

Please see the attached document for the total number of people who have worked in DWP and taken at least one leave of absence at some point between 1^st May 2023 and 31^st March 2024. It includes those who left the department during this period. Figures for April 2024 are not yet available.
