The following is an extract from the Westminster Hall debate on Access to NHS Dentistry on 10 February 2022.

I place on record my thanks to dental teams up and down the country. Urgent appointments went back to pre-pandemic levels in December 2020, but with only 85% of activity allowed the backlogs will only grow.
