Observations from The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government (Alex Norris):
While the Government are committed to ensuring that fire and rescue services have the resources they need to carry out their important work, individual fire and rescue authorities and their fire and rescue services are responsible for decisions concerning the deployment of resources in accordance with local needs and community risk management plans.
It is also the responsibility of each fire and rescue authority and their fire and rescue service to determine appropriate targets for local response times based on their analysis of risk and local circumstances.
This is a local operational issue and a matter for Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Service and Warwickshire Fire and Rescue Authority.
