A Bill to enable the law relating to societies registered under the Co-operative and Community Benefit Societies Act 2014 to be amended to permit and facilitate the use of a new and additional class of co-operative share capital; to provide consequential rights to members of such societies; to restrict the voting rights of certain members who hold such shares; and to permit such societies to be maintained against conversion into a company.
