Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what fees are being charged for HMO Licences by each Council.
Answered by Heather Wheeler
The Department does not hold information on HMO licence fees being charged by each local authority in England. We would expect details of licence fees to be readily available on local authority websites or upon request.

Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Housing, Communities and Local Government, what progress he has made on ensuring that business rate relief is not used for second homes to avoid council tax in (a) rural and (b) coastal communities.
Answered by Rishi Sunak - Prime Minister, First Lord of the Treasury, Minister for the Civil Service, and Minister for the Union
The Government believes it is right that owners of genuine holiday lets, many of which are small businesses, can apply for the relief to which they may be entitled. The Government has recently consulted on whether the criteria for deciding whether holiday properties are subject to council tax or business rates remains appropriate. We are currently considering the responses to that consultation before deciding next steps.

Question to the Department for Levelling Up, Housing & Communities:
To ask the Secretary of State for Communities and Local Government, what estimate he has made of the number of nationals of other EU member states who are living in social housing in the UK.
Answered by Brandon Lewis
The department collects details on the nationality of all household reference persons in the English Housing Survey. However, the sample size of the English Housing Survey does not permit us to report detailed nationality statistics.
