Super-deductions to stimulate business investment are a great idea. Wonder if investments in digital infrastructure in light of the new ways of living, working & travelling would be deductible. Post covid this could help businesses reimagine their operations.

Some great answers. Thanks to you all
Genuine question to innovation experts. Do innovation zones work? My instinctive reaction to the idea of new ‘Fintech zones’ is don’t we want the whole country to be an innovation zone. https://t.co/ZghaNzeatf
@DanielKorski @mr_james_c The risk appetite point is very important though. Being comfortable with risk and ultimately failure, and a huge budget are essential to DARPA’s success. It could take years before we see real rewards, so not for the faint hearted.
Our universities are often criticised for being great at research, but not at commercialisation. Last year Oxford spinouts alone raised £1bn in capital. In 2018, U.K. spinouts collectively raised £1.5bn. Huge untapped econ potential at our universities to help rebuild post covid.

RIP Captain Sir Tom Moore. You inspired us through dark times. You reminded us that anyone - at any age - can make a difference. Thank you. https://t.co/vhTIAWUNUP
