Amend the Fundamental British Values to include LGBTQ+ representation

A fundamental British Values is "an acceptance that other people having different faiths or beliefs to oneself (or having none) should be accepted and tolerated, and should not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour" This should be changed to reflect that LGBTQ+ is not a choice.

As being LGBTQ+ is not considered to be a choice, we feel that the phrasing of this fundamental British Value should be adapted as follows:

"an acceptance that other people having different faiths, identities or beliefs to oneself (or having none) should be accepted and.......not be the cause of prejudicial or discriminatory behaviour"

By adjusting this fundamental British Value it will empower educators to educate about the LGBTQ+ community, as part of SMSC and promoting British Values.
