Create a home distillery licence for recreation include health and safety course

The UK law allows you to create wine, beer and cider at home however spirits are not permitted. It is understandable that spirits are more flammable than the current legally permitted alcohol but people should be allowed the opportunity to create small quantities of spirits recreationally.

Considering the risks involved, anyone who wishes to creates spirits at home should be required to do a mandatory health and safety course, a distillery course and people should only be permitted a license provided there is adequate space I.e. Not allowed within flats.

People should be allowed to be given the opportunity to test and create in small quantities to see if products they wish to promote as a business plan are viable or just be able to enjoy a hobby of theirs.
