Lincolnshire is the only county in the UK without a motorway. Travelling from Newark to Norwich can take anything from two hours to six, depending on how many Tractors, Lorries, Caravans, etc. you come across on mainly single carriegway roads. Namely the A17, A47 and A52.

Travelling from Newark to Norwich can take anything from two hours to six, depending on how many Tractors, Lorries, Caravans, and general single lane slow drivers you come across on mainly single carriegway roads. Namely the A17, A47 and A52.
Every year there are hunfreds of deaths caused by Frustration, (police and local councils blame speed of course), at the slow moving traffic.
A major trunk road of at least two carriageways would decrease the road deaths, and many accidents considerably.
