The UK Government should take responsibility and legislate to ensure that survivors of historical institutional abuse in Northern Ireland are provided with compensation, as recommended by the Historical Institutional Abuse Inquiry.
Abuse survivors should not have to wait for a resolution to the political impasse in Northern Ireland. Please refer to Northern Irish media and the relevant pressure groups.
