To include "statutorily homeless people" under Part V of the Equality Act 2010

To be found "statutorily homeless" a person must be found to have been made "unintentionally homeless"; homeless through no fault or choice of their own. As homeless people are at a disadvantage when applying for work, they should be afforded the protection the Equality Act 2010 Part V provides .

Homelessness affects every aspect of a person's life from their employment to their personal relationships. Whilst redundancy can result in homelessness, too often, homelessness can result in a person being made redundant or demoted.This must stop.
